Video game company Activision Blizzard has beaten analysts’ expectations with its second quarter numbers thanks to games like “World of Warcraft” and “Candy Crush”. Revenue increased 19% year-on-year to nearly $ 2.3 billion, and profits rose 51% to $ 876 million. The company is also responding to allegations of discrimination in the workplace. A corporate culture will be maintained in which all employees feel welcome, said boss Bobby Kotick. Activision Blizzard was sued by the state of California last month. The group has promoted a sexist corporate culture in which women are systematically disadvantaged.
