The proportion of employees working from home continues to decline. According to a survey by the Ifo Institute, the proportion of employees who worked at least partially from home fell to 23.8% in August – from 25.5% in July and 31.7% in March. “The number of vaccines is increasing, more and more employees are returning to the office,” Professor Oliver Falck said on Friday. In August, however, the decline was less pronounced than in previous months. This indicates a stabilization of the quota.
The share of pharmaceutical production fell in particular, from 35.8 to 15.7 percent. In the industry as a whole, 16 percent are currently at least temporarily in the home office, retail and construction, only 5 percent.
