Before the night of the awakening, Akihiro Uchiumi does the odd jobs, with which he should never be negligent. He wipes the counter of his Commune pub, located in Susukino, in the center of the Sapporo metropolis on the island of Hokkaido, in northern Japan. He also wipes the tables, both of course. Everything must be clean in the narrow dining room and in its small space behind the bar.
