Industry – Entry into the United States: the BDI facilitates – the economy

The Federation of German Industries called for the planned relaxation of the overdue US entry restrictions. German businesses and the US economy could breathe a sigh of relief, BDI board member Wolfgang Niedermark said on Tuesday. “I hope that delays in production, delivery and implementation of strategic projects will be a thing of the past from November.” Beginning in November, foreigners can return to the United States with a corona vaccination. According to the BDI, it also helps the economy. For the resumption of economic activities, personal meetings in US affairs are important, Niedermark said. Skilled workers should be able to visit customers and sites of German companies operating in the United States. “The entry restrictions linked to the pandemic were no longer understandable given the high vaccination rates in the EU.”
