The week of trading, which was gloomy for Allianz shareholders, ended slightly accommodating after stocks fell 7.8% on Monday amid a warning of possible burdens on the U.S. sector wealth management. Bayer stock also rallied after recent price losses and was one of Dax’s leaders with a 2.1% premium. After a surprisingly significant drop in profits in the second quarter, the paper of the pharmaceutical and agrochemical company had lost 7.6% of its value the day before.
Hellofresh shares lost 2.5 percent in M-Dax, however. The cook-box mail order company increased its sales target for the current year after a strong second quarter. As the DAX candidate wanted to invest more money in further growth, he lowered the operating margin target. Disappointingly accepted margin targets weigh on Auto 1 papers. Shares of the online car dealership lost more than seven percent and were thus one of the lowest values in M-Dax.
Meanwhile, RTL stock was at the top of S-Dax after a record first-half result. Shares gained 7.2%. RTL also announced the merger of the German broadcasting group and the Hamburg-based publishing house Gruner + Jahr. After a downgrade by analysts at Deutsche Bank, investors have left Morphosys alone. Shares of the biotech company fell 3.8%.
