Hypo-Vereinsbank (HVB) is restructuring its corporate client activity and also relocating the executive suite. Large companies, which previously reported to both the former entrepreneurial bank and the investment bank, will now have only one point of contact, as announced by the subsidiary of the Italian banking group Unicredit . The new unit will in future be headed by Jan Kupfer, previously head of investment banking. There, Christian Reusch, who is also on the board of directors, takes over. The former head of corporate clients, Markus Beumer, is leaving the bank “under the best conditions”. After serving on the Board of Directors of Commerzbank, Beumer only moved to Munich just three years ago.
