Travel company Tui continues to record losses solely on slowly easing travel restrictions. In the third quarter, the under 748 million euros was only half as high as at the height of the Corona crisis in 2020. Sales resumed to 650 million euros. Tui has now received over four million bookings for summer business. Nevertheless, the tour operator must reduce its capacity during the summer months by 75 to 60 percent of the pre-crisis schedule. The main reason is the late resumption of business with customers from Great Britain, which is Tui’s most important market with Germany.
