After heavy business losses during the Corona crisis, US driver services broker Lyft recovered in the second quarter. In the most recent quarter ended in late June, sales increased 125% year-on-year to $ 765.0 million, as reported by Lyft. After the pandemic almost completely crippled demand for transportation services a year ago, customers are now coming back in style. “We’ve had a great quarter,” said Logan Green, co-founder and CEO of Lyft. The targets were exceeded in all respects. Ultimately, the company posted a quarterly loss of $ 251.9 million, but a year ago it was much higher at $ 437.1 million.
