Media and service group Bertelsmann is preparing the IPO of its call center operator Majorel, according to a press article. An exact date has not yet been set, but it could be September or October, the Handelsblatt reported. Thus, a consortium made up of the American banks JP Morgan, Citigroup and the French BNP Paribas is mandated, the objective is to be listed on the Euronext Amsterdam stock exchange. Majorels’ rating could therefore go up to three billion euros. Bertelsmann owns 50 percent of Majorel. The service provider was born in 2019 from the merger of the call center activities of the Bertelsmann Arvato subsidiary and the Moroccan call center operator Saham.
